Caring for a Loved One at Home?

Our Caregivers who Have Either
Been There or Are There
Here at The Caregiver Community, we believe it is the responsibility of family to care for loved ones at home in special times of need. When my father-in-law became ill several years ago, we moved him to a house next to ours so he could live out his last years in dignity with my husband caring for him.

Now my husband is losing an ongoing battle with cancer and I have become not only his caregiver but the only provider for the family, with 5 children still at home.
No one prepared me for this place in life. Yet because my main purpose in life is to serve my family in every way I can, I will continue to do whatever I have to in order to keep my family on a level path.
Too often, frustrated family members place their loved ones in facilities because they don't feel qualified to care for the person themselves. Yet most people dealing with serious illness prefer to remain in the comfort of their home.
That's why we created this online community. Whether you network with a health care facility or not, we want to give you the support and encouragement you need to be able to keep your loved one at home with you as long as possible.
We want you to have a private place where you can go for encouragement, support and help any time of the day or night.
It's a big responsibility to take care of loved ones. And often, the opportunity doesn't last long enough.
In our online community, you'll discover many practical how-to articles based on years of experience. You'll also find an online community of caregivers to talk with daily who share in your experiences.
If you are committed to caring for your loved one at home and need a place to get support,
join our community today! We're here to help!
